Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our bakery manufacturing facility in Saint Cloud, MN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with specific experience in capital projects. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Management: Oversee and manage the maintenance team to ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal working condition.
Capital Projects: Lead and manage capital projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution, to improve and expand our manufacturing capabilities.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in a timely manner.
Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Inventory Management: Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and project progress.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing setting, with at least 2 years in a bakery or food production environment.
Capital Projects: Proven experience in managing capital projects from conception to completion.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems used in bakery manufacturing.
Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
