Job Title: Production Manager - Food Manufacturing
Location: Outside of Huntsville, Alabama
Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to join our food manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of supervisory experience and a strong background in food production.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet company goals and customer demands.
Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.
Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to optimize production.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
2-5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment. (MUST)
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and OSHA regulations
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in production management software and tools.
