Description: One of my clients is currently seeking a night warehouse supervisor for their facility located in Elizabeth NJ. This leading foodservice distributor committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers. They are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Night Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our night shift operations and ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our warehouse.

Job Description: As the Night Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the night shift team and overseeing all warehouse activities during the night hours. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of order picking, packing, and shipping processes, as well as maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will play a key role in achieving operational excellence and supporting our commitment to delivering outstanding service to our customers.



Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the night shift warehouse team, including training, mentoring, and performance management
  
  


• Oversee the order picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  
  


• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory control team
  
  


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
  
  


• Conduct regular inspections and audits of warehouse operations
  
  


• Collaborate with other departments, including day shift supervisors, to ensure seamless operations
  
  


• Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges that arise during the night shift
  
  


• Maintain accurate records and reports of warehouse activities
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus
  
  


• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  
  


• Strong leadership and communication skills
  
  


• Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
  
  


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  
  


• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology
  
  


• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
