Reporting to the Director, Real Estate and Workplace Services, the Manager, Workplace Services works alongside the Director and is responsible for managing a range of multi-disciplined facility projects and programs across Targa’s real estate portfolio.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a variety of office projects from small to medium in size including, but not limited to, office/facility reconfigurations, office refurbishments, furniture procurement & installation, office decommissioning activities, move/relocations and misc. capex projects as they arise.
Manage the administrative duties associated with the operating and capital budgets (AFE management, PO creation, invoice processing etc.).
Lead the implementation of the new Real Estate & Workplace Services platform and the ongoing management of the system & modules. Import existing data into the FMS system.
Manage the preventative maintenance and office safety/emergency programs across Targa’s core offices.
Identify opportunities for ongoing cost savings and operational improvements across the portfolio.
Develop and maintain business relationships with third party vendors, suppliers, contractors, and internal customers.
Partner cross functionality with many internal teams including HR, IT, Land and ROW, Corporate Security, Operations, SCM and Accounting.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, Construction Management degree a plus.
5-7 years of progressive experience in the areas of construction project management and facilities/workplace services.
Experience with office buildouts, reconfigurations, moves, decommissioning facilities, safety programs and various facility projects.
Experience utilizing a Facility Management System (FMS) for the ongoing management of facilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to interface with employees at all levels.
Exceptional problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety, security and emergency regulations and requirements
Must be proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office software modules, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others. AutoCAD experience a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Regular and reliable attendance.
