Summer Internship Project Overview: The intern will work towards the following: - Intern will be responsible for building a merchant pricing analysis to use statistical methods to sort through sales data, cleanse data of outliers (such as spot purchases) and build dashboards in Excel/Power BI that track price changes over time and impact of pricing actions. - Benchmark Linde charges and surcharges with competition charges by using variety of qualitative and quantitative research. - Assess competitive landscape. - Identify key components of customer 360 program and create initial project framework. The position will be based at the Woodlands, TX site. Qualifications: To be considered for an internship with Linde Inc, you must meet the following: - Excellent written and verbal communications skills - Must be a rising senior or in a graduate program, actively working towards a data science or analytics, statistics, mathematics, business, and finance degree. - • Minimum GPA of 3.0. - • Ability to demonstrate past leadership in school, internship, or sporting activities. - • Hands-on experience through at least one, relevant, off-campus internship or co-op is preferred. Skills: - • Strong analytical skills. - Advanced Excel knowledge. - • Power BI knowledge preferable.
