Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and systems to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.

  • Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement, using tools such as Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, or statistical process control.

  • Investigate process failures or inefficiencies and provide corrective actions to ensure the smooth operation of production systems.

  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., R&D, quality, and production) to ensure processes align with company objectives and product specifications.

  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of production equipment, ensuring optimal performance.

  • Ensure that all processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs through process improvements, energy conservation, or waste reduction.

  • Collect and analyze data to track process performance and generate reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.

  • Provide training to staff on new processes, equipment, and best practices to maintain operational efficiency.

  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, control plans, and process flow diagrams.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, or a related field).

    • 2+ years' experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

    • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations in manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with process modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, simulation software, or similar tools).

  • Proficiency with Minitab, Tableau, or other statistical analysis software.
