Description:


The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of obstetrics and gynecology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.


Teaching responsibilities may include clinical training and supervision of medical students and residents and participation in formal teaching curriculum.


Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient prenatal and gynecology care, labor and delivery coverage, and gynecologic surgery.


The successful candidate would join Penn Medicine Division of Academic Specialists, a group of full-time obstetricians and gynecologists, advanced practice providers including midwives, in a faculty practice at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are required. A commitment to resident and medical student education is required. The successful candidate will receive fully-covered malpractice insurance and practice in a supportive environment that provides professional and personal fulfillment and career-long learning.
