Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Intelligence Support Specialist provides intelligence expertise to the DAMO-SO, ensuring alignment with Army objectives. This role coordinates with the Intelligence Community (IC), DoD staff, and Army organizations to inform strategies, policies, and resource prioritization. The specialist ensures the integration of intelligence into compartmentalized, sensitive, and non-kinetic activities that support Army operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide intelligence analysis to support ACP objectives and the operationalization of MDO tenets.
  • Coordinate with IC and other external organizations on intelligence matters related to compartmentalized, sensitive, and non-kinetic activities.
  • Conduct operational and strategic intelligence analysis to inform Army policies and resource decisions.
  • Research inquiries from Congress and draft comprehensive responses.
  • Prepare briefings, SITREPs, and other communication products to support DAMO-SO initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Extensive knowledge of HQDA processes and intelligence systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize intelligence into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills to interface with IC, DoD, and Army stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in preparing clear and concise briefings and documentation.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in dynamic environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications include:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Intelligence Studies, National Security).
  • 10+ years of intelligence support experience, including working with the IC and Joint operations.
  • Familiarity with HQDA systems and processes.
  • Ability to travel in support of DAMO-SOW requirements (required).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Intelligence Studies or National Security.
  • Experience with ACP and MDO frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond to high-level inquiries with concise and accurate intelligence analysis.
