Position Description
McKesson is seeking an Implementation Project Manager to join our Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID) Team.
High-performing team has an opening for a Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID) Implementation Project Manager to provide a myriad of services and expertise. Responsible for implementing new business, technology solutions, and programs for Medically Integrated Dispensing Practices. This role is critical in achieving the business objectives, strategic goals, and financial deliverables for the company and customer.
This individual owns the end-to-end process and provides a single point of contact for internal/external customers. The implementation manager interfaces with all areas affected by the project which may include physicians, pharmacy operations, finance/billing, and various departments (e.g., marketing, data, and reporting, etc.) and regularly reports out to Senior Leadership both internal and external to McKesson (C-suite is common).
The role is responsible for all aspects associated with the medically integrated dispensing implementation including assessing project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. This individual is responsible for developing detailed work plans, schedules, status reports and readouts in addition to conducting internal/external meetings.
Responsible for all aspects of the development/implementation of projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the implementation of new customers or delivery of a program from the design process through a finished state for internal/external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Manages Customer Implementation/Project Team.
Provides a single point of contact for Implementation efforts.
Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
Interfaces with all areas affected by the project.
Defines project scope and objectives.
Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, management, and internal and external resources.
Plans and directs project and monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal/external customer on all matters.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables. Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Education
4-year degree in related field highly preferred or equivalent experience.
Critical Skills
Minimum 4+ years of experience in client facing cross-departmental program management, project management, or a similar role.
Strong organizational skills and experience in managing projects spanning cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
Ability to set clear expectations and hold self and others accountable for the work.
Exudes executive presence and is comfortable presenting both in person and virtually to large groups.
Customer focused and team player.
High-level of initiative/self-starter.
Additional Skills
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address challenges.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools including Smartsheet - Six Sigma or PMP certification preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Experience in healthcare preferred.
Working Conditions
Able to travel domestically 20% of the time.
Remote work environment - Ideally in the Central or Eastern time zone.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $77,100 - $128,500
