Job Description:

Description



Objective: Manage all the material logistics, physically and through the ERP system, on the front end of the machining process and on the back end of the finished goods. Operates manual and Computer Numerical Control equipment to fabricate proprietary parts as required.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


This will include following; however other duties may be assigned


  • Performs duties by verbal or written instructions.

  • Pack machined parts to protect during shipping.

  • Record shipping data information.

  • Weekly update raw material inventory.

  • Put new raw material in appropriate location.

  • Practices good safety and housekeeping procedures and adheres to all established policies and procedures.

  • Receive and unload raw materials from delivery trucks.

  • Manage material certs. within the system.

  • Willing to take on other responsibilities outside of the normal day to day.

  • Ability to work as Machine Operator on CNC/Manual equipment as required to flex with in department based on demand/need.


Additional Duties and Responsibilities:


This will occasionally include, but not be the primary function of this role to the following:


  • Wash finished parts to be packed as needed

  • Deburr finished parts as needed

  • Operate CNC machine as needed

  • Preform daily cycle counts as needed



Requirements



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


To perform the basic job requirements the individual should have the following skills:


  • Willingness to learn new skills in the CNC department.

  • Wiliness to take ownership in their responsibilities.

  • Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, and written / verbal instructions with limited supervision to operate CNC equipment.

  • Good communication skills and ability to understand verbal and written instruction.

  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, sit for long periods of time.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Must be a good team player and have ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.

  • Must be able to work with hand tools.

  • Must have basic computer skills and demonstrate ability to learn current business system.

  • Ability to lift 50 lb.

  • Ability to remember production procedure / processes performed in the past.

  • Must have good organization skills




Education and/or Experience:

  • HS Diploma (or equivalent) preferred

  • Ability to understand written and verbal instruction.

  • Basic Math skills

  • Basic Computer skills

  • Forklift training preferred
