SUMMARY:
The Strategic Account Executive focuses efforts on developing and securing relationships with in identified Key and Strategic Accounts. The Strategic Account Executive has an expert level understanding of products, services and applications that can be offered. This position also has a clear understanding of internal leaders, key team members and other resources that are integral in positioning Imperative to fulfill Service Excellence. This position may oversee other sales and/or operations personnel.
JOB DUTIES:
Establish customer partnerships, which may include long-term agreements, piloting of new products and services and be perceived as a trusted partner to those key customers.Coordinate with internal personnel to develop growth strategies.Lead customer lunch-and-learn events and partner with internal company personnel for other customer workshops.Act as primary interface between key customer and internal company personnel, managing all transfers of information.Possess comprehensive knowledge of specialty chemical products, applications, oil and gas well equipment and the impact of chemical treatments and other Imperative Service offerings.Work across company with all personnel to ensure continuity and strategies are aligned.May coordinate accuracy and proper disbursement of service reports and recaps for key customers.May facilitate and/or assist in monthly failure and chemical cost review meetings.Maintain sales pipeline and relationships with key customers.Identify key customers and opportunities for business development.Be readily available to provide customer service at any time.Be readily available to assist or address internal or external needs.Provide customer service to key accounts and be primary person to answer questions, work within Imperative to resolve issues and obtain data requested by key customers.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:
High School Diploma or Equivalent; College degree preferred5+ years of applicable industry experienceKnowledge and understanding of chemical process and utilization
