Facility: Wellstar MCG Health



The Senior Pre-Access Services Representative is responsible for obtaining all necessary patient demographics, insurance, and financial information; verifying insurance eligibility and benefits; ensuring pre-certification and authorization is obtained and validated; computing, communicating and initiating patient liability collections for scheduled patients prior to date of service across all hospital ancillary, ambulatory clinic and Labor and Delivery and hospital direct admits. This is a step-up position for high tech, high dollar procedures such as chemotherapy and radiology.



Position Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and 3 years or more of experience in Patient Access or Revenue Cycle. Skills required: Databases, spreadsheets, operating systems.
