An ideal Social Services Director candidates will have the following:


  • A license to work as a Social Worker in South Carolina (required)

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or similar facility is strongly preferred

  • An understanding of healthcare laws and regulations

  • Experience using PCC is helpful

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

Your day to day:
As the Social Services Director, you will play a crucial role in assisting residents and their families with care planning and goal-setting by:


  • Evaluating social, emotional, and physical needs

  • Assisting with healthcare planning

  • Obtaining community resources

  • Counseling residents and family members
