This role will influence the thought leadership direction and strategy across our US business, reinforcing our goal to help people live a better life, longer. The successful candidate will elevate Prudential's position as an industry thought leader, fostering deeper connections with customers and key decision-makers through innovative insights and perspectives.
Key Aspects of the Role:
Individual contributor collaborating with cross-functional teams and leaders to develop and implement thought leadership strategies that align with Prudential's overall business objectives
Orchestrate and facilitate thought leadership development, rather than focusing on first-person authorship
Ensure thought leadership initiatives receive support from key decision-makers across the organization
Drive the use of thought leadership and its content through the marketing funnel, including for performance marketing purposes
What You Can Expect:
Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including senior leaders, CMOs, and cross-functional teams
Develop points of view and compelling narratives using internal and external data, along with original research, to uncover trends and position Prudential as an industry leader
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated execution of thought leadership initiatives
Use internal expertise and data, original research, existing insights, and/or external partnerships to create authoritative and unique points of view
Collaborate with insights team to commission new research or develop learning agendas
Source unique datasets and/or initiate research to fill knowledge gaps
Work with analytics team to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of thought leadership initiatives, including driving engagement and generating leads
Stay up to date on the latest trends in thought leadership strategies and best practices
What You’ll Need
Experience in developing and executing successful thought leadership strategies in the financial services industry
Industry knowledge in one of the following is required: life insurance, group insurance, retirement and annuities. High aptitude to learn about other businesses quickly
Strong understanding of trends and opportunities in investing, insurance, and retirement security
Critical thinker and excellent storyteller, with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives
Experience in collaborating with content creators and researchers.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from data and research
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and business leaders
B2B or B2B2C experience
Advanced degree in economics or related fields (Ph.D. is a plus)

The salary range for this role is from $148,800.00 to $201,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
