The Yahoo Brand Creative Team is a band of designers, writers, coders, photographers, videographers, strategists and producers obsessed with dreaming up new ways to bring brand goals to life with big ideas, bold creative and a good laugh along the way.

The pace is fast and pivots happen often, but we always emerge with web campaigns, videos, websites, event experiences, social, swag and more that makes an impact on the business and hopefully wins space in our portfolios. Our simple mission is to do work we're proud of, and we want that for anyone who comes on board.

Our work spans consumer campaigns for our brands like Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo News and more. We also support internal and B2B events.

A Lot About You

You have an excellent command of typography, color theory, composition, and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite. With a n interest in tech and media innovation, you possess the ability to think conceptually with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a talented team of writers, designers and animators


• Concept, prototype, refine, and deliver executions across consumer touchpoints


• Learn how to concept and design all facets of a campaign - from app store & mobile landing pages, digital banners, and social to video.


• Get a feel for a large, internal creative department that acts like an agency partner and passionate corporate employees at the same time

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising Art Direction, Digital Communication Arts or similar


• Knowledge of Adobe Creative S

The compensation for this position ranges from $24-$52/hr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. Yahoo provides industry leading benefits for our interns including 401k plan, company holidays, and Summer Fridays. Eligibility requirements apply.
