GHD's Midwest Environmental business is looking for an Environmental Professional to join their EHS Compliance team. This is a great opportunity for you to provide consulting services related to a variety of environmental projects for a wide range of industries. In this role you will be responsible for developing strategies for environmental compliance for our clients, preparing technical documents including proposals, reports, and regulatory agency submittals.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Collection of samples with adherence to Facility Permits
Coordination with laboratory and agency for submission of permitted sample results
Weekly compliance and housekeeping inspections
Monitoring of Facility compliance dashboards
Coordination and logistics for facility waste program
Provide regulatory determinations for state and federal environmental regulations
Interact with client and regulatory agencies to successfully comply with Facility Permits
Develop and comply with Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) for industrial storm water permits
What you will bring to the team:
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Science or related field
1-4 years of experience related to Phase I and II site assessments and environmental compliance for industrial manufacturing sites
Knowledge of environmental regulations in Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, and surrounding states
Data compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation/comparison to environmental regulatory standards
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training is a plus
Ability and willingness to travel at least 100% of the time
