Job Description:

Location: Green Knoll, NJ

Salary: $135,000.00 USD Annually - $145,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Lead Structural/Civil Engineer - PE/EIT
•Experienced with StaadPro.
•Know how to do structural calculations by hand or otherwise.
•Familiarity with Codes such as ASCE and AISC and how to calculate load combinations and size steel members.


•Be able to take the requirements of a customer specification and develop a structural design criteria to be used as a basis of design.


•Have practical knowledge, ability to problem solve, and common sense.


•Be project oriented.


•Be able to manage other structural engineers, check their work, check drawings, assign and allocate tasks in accordance with deadlines and schedules.


•Manage subcontract engineering firms performing similar structural work as well as duct flexibility analysis and pipe stress analysis. They don't need to have a working knowledge of these last 2 items, just the ability to manage those tasks to completion, answer technical questions, make decisions, etc. •Dig into the requirements and do the work with little supervision.
