Provide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist the Region in meeting Cardiac Ablation Solutions ( CAS) sales and customer service objective s .

* As this is a field based role, there may be up to 80% travel within the assigned territory . Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy . In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application, and you will need to produce or obtain an auto insurance policy. *

*Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise. Clinical Specialists are periodically required to work weekends, evenings and nights. *

A DAY IN THE LIFE: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical Support / Clinical Support


  • Represents Medtronic CAS during ablations procedures to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance

  • Receives technical inquiries by customers. Researches solutions to questions or problems (e.g., Catheter , Console , Generator support)

  • Edu cational Support

  • Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures

  • One-on-one training sessions


  • In-service education programs

  • Semi nars and/or outside symposiums


  • Assists RM and field training department in educating/training new Clinical Sp ecialists and Account Managers

  • Provides training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel

  • Sales Support


  • Updates sales representatives concerning procedure. Immediately notifies Account Manager regarding issues o r problems requiring follow-up

  • Serves as effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support

  • Promotes the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS p roducts and related procedures

  • Understands national, regional and territory sales objectives . Works in partnership with Account Manager to achieve exceed goals

Qualifications - External

MUST HAVE - BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME

  • High School diploma PLUS a minimum 8 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field

OR

  • Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field

OR

  • Bachelor degree PLUS a minimum 4 years work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field

NICE TO HAVE - DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years work experience in cardiac field, hospital/ clinic or sales.

  • Proven track record with technical training assignments.

  • Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical / clinical support.

  • Ability to travel more than 75% of the time

  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy . In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application

  • Ability to freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, visually able to interact with personal computers


  • Must be able to s tand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day

  • Must have a valid driver's license

  • Ability to travel up to 75%

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$85,000-$94,000

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
