We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design and Verification Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating artificial intelligence into hardware design & verification processes. You will collaborate with hardware engineers and AI specialists to design, implement and deploy systems that leverage AI for enhanced efficiency.


Areas of focus will include evaluation and customization of coding assistants and augmenting pre-trained Generative AI systems with internal technical knowledge and data. These solutions will be used by engineering teams to increase efficiency, improve access to technical information and apply intelligent automation to our engineering flows.


Responsibilities:



  • Use Case Identification: Explore and identify new opportunities where Generative AI can be applied within the hardware engineering domain. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand challenges and pinpoint areas for AI integration.


  • Technology evaluation: Investigate availability of commercial solutions to address our use cases, and evaluate impact


  • Solution Development: Design and develop AI solutions tailored to hardware engineering. This includes data preprocessing, model customization, development of AI tools based on these models, evaluation, and iteration based on performance and feedback.


  • Technology Deployment: Implement and scale AI solutions in hardware engineering settings. Ensure seamless integration with existing processes. Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely w/ hardware engineers, data scientists, and project teams to align AI capabilities with business goals and engineering requirements.


  • Research and Innovation: Keep abreast of the latest developments in AI and machine learning, particularly those applicable to Arm engineering. Drive innovation through continuous research and applying pioneering techniques.


  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of developed solutions, and performance outcomes. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress to collaborators.



Required Skills & Experience :



  • Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields.


  • Experience:At least 3 - 5 years of experience in hardware design or verification

  • Strong understanding of digital D&V methodologies

  • Interest in automation, supported by examples in how you have applied it to D&V flows

  • Familiarity with EDA tools like Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics.

  • Programming skills in Python, C++, or other relevant programming languages.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to solve complex D&V challenges.

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.



"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience :


  • Familiarity with use of Generative AI technology and Large Language Models.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Salary Range:
$185,491-$250,958 per year
