The Department of Sociology & Criminology in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami is soliciting applicants with Ph.D.'s in Sociology or a related discipline to fill a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of medical sociology/race. The successful candidate will be expected to teach one course annually in the College's Global Health Studies Program. The start date for the position is August 15, 2025. The Department of Sociology & Criminology offers undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees and maintains an extensive research portfolio in the areas of medical sociology, criminology, and race/ethnicity/immigration.
