General Summary


The Senior Integration Developer is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing complex processes across the university. This role requires exceptional communication, problem-solving, process design, and project lifecycle management skills to ensure the successful execution of integration projects.





Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Analyze and develop university integrations, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.

  • Maintain effective communication channels to facilitate progress across multiple projects.

  • Collaborate with programmers, analysts, contractors, external vendors, and internal department stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

  • Work independently and demonstrate a proactive approach to assignments.

  • Exhibit a strong aptitude for self-directed learning to quickly acquire new skills.

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, tracking progress through milestones and strategic project planning.

  • Utilize advanced SQL Server skills, focusing on database objects, stored procedures, SSIS, and query design.

  • Develop integrations using Microsoft SQL Server and Boomi iPaaS.

  • Leverage knowledge of C#, VB.NET, SSIS packages, REST APIs, JSON, and SSRS for reporting and data access.

  • Support a multi-tenant Microsoft 365 environment, utilizing Microsoft Azure, Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC), PowerShell, and Graph API.

  • Contribute to the team's transition towards a cloud-based future.





Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience/certifications.

  • Advanced knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Strong ability to translate functional system needs into reliable code.

  • Proficient understanding of data structures and relational databases.

  • Knowledge of programming languages including SQL, JSON, JavaScript, Groovy, C#, and VB.NET.

  • Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Boomi iPaaS, SQL Management Studio, SSRS, SSIS, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, IIS Manager, and Visual Studio.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts in an accessible manner for stakeholders.





Experience



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development and design.

  • Proven experience with Agile development methodologies and SDLC.

  • Familiarity with higher education systems is preferred.
