The machinist machines a variety of parts and makes spare parts to keep the mill operational and running efficiently; efficiency is especially critical in break down situations. The machinist will also maintain all shop equipment in clean and good working order and be a resource to others. All work is to be done in a safe, professional manner.


Qualifications: (1) Journeyman level skills, preferably with 5 or more years of experience. (2) Must have own precision tools to perform the job. (3) Must be capable of running lathes, milling machines, key seaters, radial arm drills, and all other necessary shop equipment. (4) Must work to close tolerances. (5) Must be proficient in threading ID/OD metric and standard. (6) Must be able to work overtime and during off-shift hours/days as needed to keep the mill running efficiently.
