About the job:




The Personal Care Services Manager under the supervision of the Nursing Director, supervises Personal Care Scheduler to ensure adequate staffing is obtained to meet the needs of participants while remaining at or under budget. Supervises all direct staff in the Adult Day Health Center and the Home Care departments in conformance with policies, procedures, and standards and all governing state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include the planning, coordination, and implementation of the dementia programming for all direct care staff.



Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience.

  • Three (3) years' of experience in a geriatric health setting including a minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated successful supervisory experience

  • Certification or equivalent experience demonstrating knowledge of comprehensive dementia car

  • Proficiency with various business software, preferably Microsoft Office.

  • Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.

Essentials:




  • Staff Management



  • Directs, supervises and evaluates the performance of the C.N.A.s, and P.C.A.s.




  • In consultation with the Nursing Director and other management staff, develops and implements policies, procedures and standards for the Adult Day Health Center and Home Care departments




  • Interviews and recommends for hire, staff reporting to the Personal Care Services Manager.



    • Center Management and Quality Assurance



  • In conjunction with other site managers and supervisors, establishes and maintains operational systems to ensure uniform and consistent delivery of care and services for participants.




  • Implements quality assurance/improvement systems, policies and procedures per established agency wide protocols and standards.




  • Works with the management staff and administration to assure that cultural needs of participants are met in the Adult Day Health Center.
