designs, manufactures, and markets absorbent hygiene products. Job Summary:




  • Responsible for sourcing indirect purchases (including; parts, capital equipment, leases, services) and raw materials for North America

  • Partner with internal departments such as, Storeroom, Operations, Engineering, Warehouse, Utilities, IT,. etc. to ensure our indirect purchases are fully vetted through our Request for Quote Procedure (RFQ) ensuring we receive the best products/services at the most competitive price.

  • Ensuring Attindas purchases follow the appropriate procurement processes and procedures

  • This role works to continuously improve supplier relationships and cultivate cross-functional partnerships ensuring suppliers fully understand our expectations.

  • Identify, lead and oversee the development, execution and tracking of cost reduction activities such as: supplier synergies across business units, price negotiations, cost/benefit analysis, payment term extensions, pay early discounts, vendor managed inventory, shipping costs, etc.

  • Assist Accounts Payable to ensure accurate invoicing and payments

  • Create and maintain Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDA's) with our suppliers where needed

  • Develop and negotiate Supply, Service or Lease Agreements and act as a liaison between Attindas legal, our internal departments and suppliers



  • Define, measure, and track categories for spending to analyze actual spend against budget and assist with annual budget creation for parts, capital equipment, leases and services.

  • Develop and lead risk mitigation plans by understanding market conditions that could impact purchases.

  • Manage annual Supplier Scorecard process for key suppliers. Establishing improvement countermeasures for suppliers based on internal business unit feedback.

  • In addition to indirect purchases, this position will be required to cross train on all aspects of Attindas procurement activities


Key responsibilities:




  • Manage indirect and raw material purchasing per Attindas sourcing strategy ensuring competitive pricing, fitness for use and stability of supply.

  • Identify, lead and track cost reduction projects

  • Oversee and manage RFQ's

  • Understand market conditions (demand/supply, innovations, new entrants, supply risk, etc.) and assist plants with risk mitigation strategies

  • NA finance support (budget tracking and creation, invoice discrepancies)

  • Understand market conditions (demand/supply, innovations, new entrants, supply risk, etc.) and assist plants with risk mitigation strategies

  • Contract, CDA Negotiation, Execution, Management

  • Maintain and lead designed routine or as needed Supplier meetings

  • Mange annual Supplier Scorecard process for North America.


Required Qualifications:




  • BS Degree + 2 years of related work experience




Preferred Qualifications:




  • BS Degree + 7 years in Procurement/Supply Chain role
