Job Description

Hoefer Welker is seeking a qualified REVIT Designer within our Healthcare Practice Group’s medical equipment and technology consulting service (Clinical Technology Solutions). The REVIT Designer will provide specialized support for developing and managing medical equipment REVIT layout drawings for new healthcare projects. In this entry level role, the core responsibilities will support the BIM Project Manager to include initial setup of REVIT models, develop REVIT medical equipment layouts for healthcare design/construction projects, participate and provide BIM coordination with architectural and project teams, and assist with maintaining a medical equipment REVIT family library.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Set-up, and maintain, REVIT models and BIM standards for projects.
  • Participate in project team meetings to document medical equipment layout modifications.
  • Develop REVIT medical equipment layouts according to project standards and requirements.
  • Manage and maintain REVIT family libraries and typical layout templates.
  • Provide technical support and solutions surrounding BIM deliverables.

Job Requiremetns

Education/Experience: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Drafting and Design program preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years using AutoDesk BIM 360.
  • Minimum 3 years working in healthcare planning/design/construction industry.
  • Experience developing REVIT families preferred, but not required.

Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: Revit/AutoDesk certification is beneficial. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and willingness to use insured personal vehicle in the course of employment.

Qualifications/Skills: Candidate must be proficient in REVIT, Microsoft Office, Blue Beam. Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, strong written and oral communication skills and meet deadlines. Quality and customer service focus a must. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be detail oriented and able to perform each essential duty effectively.

  • Advanced knowledge and ability to provide technical support for Revit, AutoCAD, and all related BIM & CAD software
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels in and outside the organization.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Team player who is detail oriented, possesses strong communication and problem solving skills and who enjoys working un a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
