Job Responsibilities:
- Room patients and perform vitals (blood pressure, height, weight, head circumference, temperature via oral, tympanic, or rectal).
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms after each patient visit.
- Stock rooms with necessary supplies and prepare for the next patient.
- Assist the physician during exams and treatments within the scope of practice.
- Conduct laboratory tests and rapid tests such as flu, strep, mono, RSV, and urine tests.
- Perform blood draws on children aged 0 to 21 years using heel stick, finger stick, and venipuncture techniques.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to take accurate vital signs.
- Ability to work effectively with children and their parents.
- Experience in performing blood draws, particularly on pediatric patients.
- Solid background in medical practices and patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
