Description: The Judge Group is seeking a degreed Process Engineer in Richland Center, WI! The qualified candidate will be responsible for evaluating process systems to develop and recommend process improvement plans to support efficiency improvements, on-going cost reduction, and quality enhancement policies in a continuous improvement environment.
Responsibilities:
Works with employees and managers to pinpoint potential system or line opportunities within the facility
Use tools to recognize losses and focus factory resources for the greatest gain
Assist maintenance and operations in problem solving
Works with team to bring the greatest performance and reliability from the existing asset base
Facilitates Kaizen Events
Lead Cost Saving projects
Assists implementation of 5S, SMED and Standard work
Requirements:
5+ years lean experience in a manufacturing environment
2-5 years' experience leading Kaizen events in manufacturing environment
BS degree in Engineering is preferred - Engineering degree: IE, ME is ideal.
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred
Lean training/certification required
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to teach and coach CI concepts throughout the plant
Experience in solving complex manufacturing problems
Show ability to utilize DMAIC/PDCA or similar process
