They are seeking an Industrial Electrician to execute scheduled and day-to-day maintenance tasks, ensuring their food production facility operates safely and efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining automated production equipment and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
What You Will Be Doing:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant machinery such as mixers, conveyors, compressors, motors, and pumps.
Diagnose and repair electrical control devices, including switches, sensors, push buttons, and motor starters.
Work with PLCs (Allen Bradley), utilizing RS Logix to read and interpret ladder logic.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with production and refrigeration teams to resolve operational issues.
Use electrical testing tools such as multimeters, ohm meters, and meggers.
Communicate effectively with the department manager and contribute to cross-training initiatives.
Assist in developing standard operating procedures and maintenance schedules.
Interpret technical schematics, plans, and maintenance manuals.
What They're Looking For
High School Diploma (Technical College or PLC Certification Course a plus)
PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical skills.
Experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing a plus).
Work within a plant environment with frequent standing, bending, and climbing.
Ability to regularly move or lift loads of up to 50 lbs.
