PRODUCTION MANAGER
*** Must have experience with Slitting/Coils Process***
***Experience in the metal processing or manufacturing industry is essential***
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Management:
- Lead and motivate a team of 30 - 50 employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure optimal performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Operational Oversight:
- Manage and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all production activities.
- Coordinate with various departments to streamline operations and achieve production goals.
Technical Expertise:
- Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and repair of all production equipment and machinery.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Ensure all equipment and processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
Quality Control and Safety:
- Maintain strict adherence to quality control standards, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Promote a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve any safety issues or hazards promptly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the metals manufacturing industry or a related field.
- Strong technical background in equipment calibration and preventive maintenance.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
