The salary range for this position is $78,200 - $90,000 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Manager, Supply Planning position is part of the Operations Team. Supply Planning is the voice of the Operations team to the business and is responsible for supporting the supply planning process for a specific Brand(s) to ensure efficient delivery of products. This role involves assisting in planning, coordinating with various departments, and supporting the team to meet organizational goals. The focus may be on new product launches, core or both.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and collaborate with the supply planning team and cross functional partners.
Assist in developing and implementing supply planning strategies to meet business objectives
Coordinate with production planning, materials management, and logistics teams to support seamless supply chain operations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, and act as an effective liaison between Brand, Merchandise Planning and Operations Partners
Analyze merchandise and demand forecasts vs. inventory levels to assist in creating supply plans.
Help identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain and recommend creative solutions to challenges.
Communicate and escalate significant supply problems, identify the root cause and the resolution.
Work with leadership to align supply planning with overall business strategy.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in implementing improvements, as needed, such as meeting 95% fill rate targets and reducing Excess & Obsolescence inventory
Participate in projects, as requested, or as identified
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in Supply Planning or a related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills
Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.
Communication excellence such as professionally communicating clearly: verbal and written
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas a must), Proficiency with MS Office, SQL database queries a plus
