SUMMARY: The VP of Program Management and Workforce Planning is a key critical member of the Finance executive team and is responsible for providing strategic program management leadership and oversight over the PMO organization, supporting projects across the enterprise. Reporting to the SVP, Finance, this position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project management function for the Company, while also playing a key role in developing and implementing strategies to forecast, develop, and optimize the capacity of technology, curriculum, and product teams to meet the evolving needs of our product roadmap.

  • Responsible for the leadership and performance of the Program Management Office (PMO) in all areas including enterprise strategy & governance, project and program management, and workforce planning to support Company wide objectives.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology workforce planning strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives, product roadmap, and future project needs.

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive project management methodology, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects aligned with the Company's product roadmaps

  • Partner with business and cross functional leadership, product management, and technology teams, to ensure successful program execution aligned with technology advancements, and the evolving product roadmap.

  • Monitor and optimize the capacity of the PMO team to ensure efficient resource allocation and a seamless talent pipeline to ensure project delivery, and successful product launches as outlined in the roadmap

  • Develop, implement, maintain, and ensure all projects are delivered using a 'best-practice' project management methodology inclusive of standards, templates, tools and processes

  • Analyze current and future technology skill requirements based on the product roadmap, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the project management and cross functional teams

  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to project management leadership and team

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization

  • Communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and written




Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 4 - 6 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.



MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
:



  • BA or BS, preferably in business, project management, economics, or a related field, AND

  • Fifteen (15) years of experience in an operational, finance, management, or project delivery role AND

  • Ten (10) years of upper management experience in a senior program management role, with experience in managing technology projects OR

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience




OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex projects aligned with product roadmaps.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing project management methodologies.

  • Direct experience driving continuous improvements in process and operational efficiencies through designing and driving standards across cross functional teams.

  • Experience in workforce planning and resource capacity planning

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to ensure efficient resource allocation and successful program execution

  • Experience building and leading a high-performance team across multiple geographies

  • Ability to quickly drill down to solve problems and take ownership of the resolution

  • Ability to partner cross functionally to drive complex strategic projects

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time

  • Ability to clear the required background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
:



  • MBA Preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent

  • Expertise with Scrum, SAFe Agile, SDLC

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.



We anticipate the salary range to be $192,309.00 - $307, 694.40. Eligible employees may receive a bonus.This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
