Gibbon Packing, LLC an American Foods Group Company has an opportunity for a Security Guard at our Gibbon, NE plant.
Essential Functions:
Utilize gate houses to control access and prevent unauthorized access to buildings and property.
Greet and monitor employees, visitors, vendors, and consultants granted access to buildings and property.
Disarm all alarms and activate card access readers on buildings when necessary for that shift.
Arm, lock and secure all buildings nightly or on company holidays when necessary for that shift.
Respond to any emergency situation as called.
Staff gatehouses, greeting employees, customers, visitors, and vendors, providing assistance, information and visitor parking passes in a courteous, professional manner.
Maintain an active list of all temporary associates, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
Patrol the surrounding premises.
Assist with the cattle unloading process when necessary.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts.
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
Ability to work extended scheduled hours which includes nights and weekends. Must be able to work overtime as required and varying shifts.
Must be willing and able to use a firearm.
Must be able to successfully complete training:
Safety.
Safe Quality Food (SQF).
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP).
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Food defense.
