Tetra Tech's High Performance Buildings Division is actively seeking an Architect to support our architecture and engineering projects / services. The qualified applicant will support Tetra Tech's global Hight Performance Building's market, specifically relating to facility design projects locally and occasionally worldwide. The selected candidate will experience a unique opportunity to be involved with projects located in various areas of the world working with a team of in-house experts in all disciplines. Our dynamic work environment requires thinking outside the box to incorporate design and construction solutions to adapt to unique project specific challenges.

Your contributions will include:

• Collaborate on architectural and multi-discipline design teams, including building design, space planning, code review, building envelope design, sustainability, and detailing for construction documents.
• Interact with both clients and multi-discipline teams in design charrettes work sessions.
• Perform product research, assist project leadership with materials and system evaluations for sustainability, constructability, and value to the client.
• Utilizing modeling software such as Revit to product technical drawings with only minimal assistance.
• Developing BIM management plans and leading the BIM efforts for projects.
• Perform various construction administrative activities such and review of submittals and shop drawings.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture.
• 4+ years of experience as a Design / Project Architect.
• 1+ years of U.S. Federal or DoD consulting experience.
• Possess functional knowledge of the use of Revit software for project production and design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A valid driver's license, and ability to travel to client offices and project sites when required.
• Ability to do 10% travel.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree preferred.
• LEED AP certification is a plus .
• Experience and / or interest in sustainable design desired.

This role can be performed from a wide range of locations throughout the US. The pay range for this position is between $70,000 - $85,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on primary work location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal parity.
