About the Position:



This role is an on-campus, in-person position.


This position is responsible for recruiting and yielding high quality applicants for the Working Professionals (WP) MBA Programs (Online MBA, MBAD, PMBA, and EMBA) and Graduate Certificate Programs. These programs represent ~350 students per year. The Working Professionals Graduate market is highly competitive and made up of a diverse and sophisticated student population. As such, this individual will be responsible for several strategic recruiting initiatives across multiple programs requiring strong business acumen and the ability to manage and understand the complexity of multiple curricula, admissions cycles, and expected career outcomes. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of WP Programs, this individual will also be responsible for process management and will serve as a liaison with key cross-functional partners (marketing, student enrollment and engagement, corporate engagement, etc.) to ensure successful recruitment and yield.



Essential Functions:



  • Student Recruitment/Yield Strategy and Execution: Develop strategy to recruit and yield students for 4 WP MBA Programs and 10 certificate programs. Align and work with admissions team and cross-functional partners to translate strategy into execution. Responsible for MBA student ambassador program, alumni/faculty engagement programs, referral program, cross-functional partnerships and strategy.


  • Strategic Project Management: Plan and execute recruiting-related projects (e.g., corporate partner/vendor onboarding) that may impact the entire WP Graduate Admissions organization. Operate with limited oversight and coordinate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to address complex challenges in an ever-changing market. Assess and provide recommendations on budget impacts.


  • Operational Excellence: Optimize and implement processes in Slate and other tools to streamline recruiting and yielding processes.


  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Ad-Hoc Projects as Needed (Data Pulls, Rankings Reporting, Benchmarking Support, etc.)


  • Occasional evening/weekend hours will be required for admissions related programming.







Qualifications



Education and Experience:



A Bachelor's degree is required. A Master's degree is preferred.


A minimum of three (3) years of experience is required, preferably in university admissions and/or marketing/sales/consulting.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills with the ability to prioritize.


Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.


Candidate must be able to demonstrate strategic planning, implementation, and assessment abilities.


Candidate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet and email communications systems is essential.


Candidate knowledge of Slate, Salesforce and/or other Admissions software is preferred.



Physical and Environmental Demands:



  • Sit for long periods of time

  • Carry/lift 25 lbs.
