“A Day in the Life”
Are you ready to make a significant impact and shape the future of our sales team? As our Sales Training Manager you'll have the thrilling opportunity to design and build a cutting-edge training program for our dynamic Mobile Modular Team. You'll be the driving force behind the skill development of both current and future sales team members, ensuring they excel in their roles.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the sales team to accelerate their growth, establish consistency, and enhance the efficiency of our training delivery processes. You'll dive deep into understanding the tasks our sales team needs to master to guarantee a seamless and successful customer experience, ensuring we get it right the first time, every time.

Your mission will be to craft the most effective training strategies, ensuring all team members—new and seasoned—are well-versed in our processes, systems, and procedures. Over time, you'll develop a comprehensive training portfolio that covers everything from product knowledge to selling skills, ultimately elevating the customer experience to new heights.

“What You’ll Do”


  • Learn our processes to outline a consistent practice for the sales team to utilize our systems and procedures, partnering with the subject matter experts in the business. Develop a curriculum covering all our processes, systems and procedures for all Sales Representatives to create a consistent approach across the business.

  • Create and deliver learning content to help employees understand how sales, operations and production teams work together to find the best solution for our customer’s needs.

  • Approach work with a self-starter mentality; comfortable with driving initiatives and working both independently and with key stakeholders.

  • Develop an on-boarding program for all new Sales Representatives in Mobile Modular. Manage the onboarding and training plan for new sales team members.

  • Work with Mobile Modular Regional Leaders to analyze training needs

  • Design and develop course content

  • Work with outside instructional design partners to design and develop course content when needed.

  • Measure effectiveness of training programs through report generation and comprehensive program analysis. Participative in the company’s sales audit processes.

  • Evaluate data and provide insights to leaders for continuous evolution of training program.

  • Facilitate engaging virtual sessions and in-person training as needed.

  • Lead other sales related training focused on developing sales skills and product expertise.

  • Participate in the creation of portfolio of learning programs and training paths for skill and career development.

“Must Haves”


  • Bachelor’s degree, or proven work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Designing and developing training materials to improve selling skills, technical competency, and overall sales team effectiveness.

  • Working knowledge across a blend of training modalities, including classroom, virtual classroom, and eLearning.

  • Training needs analysis experience.

  • Proficient computer skills required, including Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other virtual training platforms.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and professional speaking skills.

  • Classroom training facilitation experience, including experience with systems/process training and training a sales audience.

  • Experience with influencing/impacting direction and decisions without formal authority.

“Nice to Haves”


  • Professional sales experience is ideal; or direct experience in creating and delivering sales training is strongly preferred.

  • An understanding of standard business practices related to sales operations processes and systems (sales cycle, sales methodology, CRM applications, reporting, forecasting and territory management).

  • Experience with creating and launching a new training program at an enterprise scale.

  • Exposure to Salesforce is preferred.

  • Experience in commercial construction, or general knowledge of construction sales industry.

  • Strong knowledge of e-learning authoring tools.

Special Consideration

  • Approximately 30% travel may be needed.
