Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting in preventive maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
Job Responsibilities
Various repairs to steel, aluminum, and composite molds for example but not limited to: cleaning, straightening, and occasional welding
Repair and replace components on the molds such as hooks, cylinders, and vibrators
Preventive maintenance as part of a team on plant equipment, motors, pumps, gearboxes, etc.
Repair plant systems such as resin piping, compressed air piping, basic HVAC, etc.
Identify safety hazards in the work area
Facility maintenance and housekeeping
Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing or maintenance experience preferred
Follow All Safety, Environmental, and appropriate Policies and Guidelines
Actively Participate in Company's Continuous Improvement Programs
Ability to read and interpret part numbers and engineering prints and have intermediate math skills
Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
Ability to lift 50lbs throughout the day
