RMC is hiring a Senior System Administrator to support IT work at NSWC Crane. The selected applicant will work collaboratively with the MECM team to build packages and deploy to all servers and workstations on the RDTE network
Provides application/Windows OS installation/configuration/patching as well as data reporting (application install status, client health, etc.) leveraging Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
Create and maintain workstation images and build new systems using a standard imaging process
Create, update, and maintain automated application deployment packages
Develop software installation scripts for software installations
Develop/implement operating systems’ downloads for supported workstations
Working knowledge required of MECM Site Server roles and how to troubleshoot functionality and issues (e.g., Site Server, DP, SUP, WSUS, SQL Database Servers, etc.)
Assist in software installation package distribution, security patch distribution, and troubleshooting
Design, implement and configure the COTS/GOTS software needed to support enterprise infrastructure
Provide user support and guidance
Research, evaluate, and remain current on emerging tools, techniques, and IT technologies
Work closely with client to perform technical and requirements analysis
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to local management and internal
customers
Maintain and update Server STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) requirements to comply with DISA standards
Knowledge of DISA’s ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution), how scans work, how scan findings are applicable to workstations and servers, and how to remediate
Coordinates with Information Assurance team to remediate workstation and server security issues found during routine checks.
Relevant and working knowledge of the administration of computer Active Directory (AD) accounts, Organizational Units (OU), Users & Groups, Vmware, etc. in support of System Center Configuration
Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000.
Requirements
Ability to provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
Be able to provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
MECM experience on Windows Server platforms
PowerShell scripting
Bachelor's Degree with 7 to 10 years experience
Security Clearance Level: SECRET
Required Certification(s):
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification
IAT III 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent
