Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Salesforce Developer Lead within our team.


Our Service Line needs a Developer to aid in the configuration of the Salesforce platform and implement custom code that enables us to deliver high quality solutions on-time and on-budget for our customers. The ideal candidate has the technical background to be able to learn the Salesforce Platform and develop effectively and efficiently. The candidate will need to be able to develop net new solutions and maintain existing applications while adhering to dev ops methodologies in line with industry best practices and coding standards. The candidate may also need to work on integrating Salesforce with other technologies and be able to facilitate data migration to and from Salesforce. The candidate should be methodical and organized but have the communication skills to properly manage relationships with customer stakeholders and delivery partners. This job will involve working on enterprise-level multi-year implementations in the public sector. The candidate should have experience with configuring/developing Public Sector Solutions (Vlocity) toolkit. This role offers remote work opportunities.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist in development, testing and implementation of large enterprise Salesforce solutions

  • Configure Salesforce standard functions such as security, new objects and fields, page layouts, workflows and approval processes

  • Develop and maintain applications consisting of configured standard Salesforce components and custom code

  • Configure and develop with OmniScript, Data Raptors and Integration Procedures

  • Develop scripting to facilitate data migration to and from Salesforce

  • Adhere to dev ops processes for code documentation, maintenance, and promotion

  • Build test cases to provide adequate code coverage

  • Follow Voyatek delivery procedures

  • Create technical and process documentation when needed

  • Aid in the testing of system components with the QA team

  • Troubleshoot of reported issues

  • Interface with business analysts and technical staff

  • Implement AppExchange applications into a Salesforce org




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/information science/information technology or related experience

  • 8 + years of development experience in JavaScript or Salesforce

  • 8 + years of experience in SOQL, XML, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery

  • 8 + years of experience using the Salesforce APIs - SOAP, REST, BULK, METADATA

  • Ability to produce high quality technical documentation and analysis

  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills

  • Knowledge and experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions data model

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (Vlocity) toolkit

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce product suite

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on development using Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers, and Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool



The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $95,000.00 to $158,000.00. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. This position is classified as exempt in accordance with applicable law.
