The Commercial HVAC Installation Manager leads the installation team to complete projects at client sites in multiple states. The position ensures work is completed is a safe manner following all appropriate policies and regulations with environmental impact considerations. Key objectives include tracking timely completion of commercial projects to BGIS standards providing training and consultation to installers internally and communicating externally to clients. The Commercial HVAC Installation Manager provides direction in a positive and professional manner exemplifying BGIS values.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
HVAC Installation Team Management
Manage all activities related to installations for commercial clients.
Lead Installations team members to ensure smooth project execution including scheduling, resource allocation, and materials procurement, and quality work.
Monitor progress of projects, identifying potential issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and field technicians.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and customer service throughout the Installation organization.
Recruit, hire, train, coach, mentor, and manage a team of skilled HVAC professionals confirming each individual has the appropriate skills to deliver exceptional service.
Communicate BGIS and client processes/procedures and regulatory safety, health and environment requirements ensuring consistent compliance and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
Share annual goals, conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
Identify opportunities for improvements in the installation processes seeking efficiencies and economies of scale.
Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.
Client Service Focus
Represent BGIS professionally in forming and building customer relationships.
Establish collaborative communications with both internal customers/support teams and external clients and vendors.
Maintain high level of customer satisfaction through excellence in work by team members.
Do quality control checks on all installs managed
Resolve client concerns engaging additional organizational leadership as needed.
Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards completing reporting and preparing materials for meetings and presentations.
Stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize operational efficiency.
Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor's Degree, Trade School Certification or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 7 years performing job duties in a similar role including management of projects.
Expert level knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and installation processes.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to build strong internal and external information flow.
Collaborative and professional approach of working with cross functional internal teams, vendors and external clients.
Ability to lead team and also complete independent work as required.
Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to challenges.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook or similar software.
Journeyperson status and/or trade licensing preferred.

Current valid driver's license and ability to provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office with reimbursement.
