Nature & Purpose of Position:

The student worker will assist in developing and maintaining mobile device forensic labs. This position focuses on building digital forensic and cybersecurity labs to support academic training.

Responsibilities:
Assist in creating forensic images for Android-based devices.

• Support the development of forensic lab manuals and instructional materials.


• Perform basic programming tasks (e.g., Python, C/C++) to automate forensic processes.


• Troubleshoot and document challenges encountered during lab creation.


• Support testing and maintenance of virtual machines for deploying labs.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of programming languages like Python or C/C++.

• Interest or prior exposure to digital forensics or cybersecurity.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.


• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
