Caterpillar's Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) is hiring a Senior Sales Support Consultant for Customer Value Agreements. This role will serve as a Construction Industries market and divisional consultant for Customer Value Agreements. The Senior Sales Consultant will develop strategic Aftermarket services, support Aftermarket Solutions Representatives (ASRs) in the field, and contribute to the Division's business and long-term leadership position.
What You'll Do
In this role, the incumbent will be working with key partners including CVA Product Group and Distribution Services Division (DSD), as well as aligning with the Sales Execution and Sales Support teams in Construction Industries Services Division (CISD) to drive CVA 4+ growth which is critical to achieving double digit Sales to Users (STU) by 2026. Key duties include, but not limited to:
Lead cross functional workshops and governance with partners/dealers to deliver proactive, data-based plans to achieve targets
Scale the CVA Recipe across dealers in region
Deep understanding of Go To Marketing of new/enhance CVA opportunities, including dealer adoption
Drive CVA strategy by driving up renewal rates, driving adoption for CVAs on Point of Sales for in channel USED, and filling the CVA Opportunity funnel
Collaborate with dealer CVA Specialist, as well as drive collaboration with other dealer parts specialists
Collaborate globally for CVA shares and insights issues
Support deeper, richer, longer CVAs and piloting of new CVA offers as required
Review granular insights by dealer, customer segment and product type to provide recommendations for growth opportunities
Present insights on gaps, root cause, and proposed actions to leaders and advisors
Create and manage Commercial Sales Variance programs
Conduct training for Dealer PSSRs , Regional Leadership to Dealer CVA Specialists
What You Have
Progressively responsible job-related experience in the areas of Prime Product Sales, Aftermarket Sales or Technical Support, and/or Strategic Project Management
Strong product applications knowledge and/or knowledge of dealers' and customers' application, industry and marketplace needs
Demonstrated Effective Communications Skills through experience consulting and collecting of Voice of Customer for New Product/Services Introduction or distribution needs
Strong Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Relationship Management Skills demonstrated by working with senior staff and management on industry growth plans, regional merchandising programs or regional dealer programs
Top Candidates Will Also Have
Experience with aftermarket business (Caterpillar dealer network is a plus)
Effective communication skills across product, industry, dealer and/or customer audiences to gain understanding and acceptance of ideas and recommendations.
Experience providing training for internal and external sales teams, direction for future solutions and industry needs, and sharing this expertise at higher industry levels with business unit management
Experience creating behavioral changes in organizations

Summary Pay Range: $123,480.00 - $185,280.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
