Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Washington, DC that is seeking a Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, the Senior Accountant will primarily support the Controller and Assistant Controller, but also assist the finance & accounting team with additional duties as needed


• Utilize Concur for managing expense reports and invoices


• Assist with processing payroll for 35 internal employees using Paylocity


• Work with the general ledger and perform routine month-end close activities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• 5+ years of accounting experience


• Strong Concur experience


• Strong MS Excel experience


• QuickBooks experience is not required but an added bonus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
