RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a Product Development Manager.

Summary:
We are partnering with our client to find a skilled Product Development Manager (PDM) to support a complex and high-impact application. This role will involve both front-end and back-end development, as well as the integration of real-time data from multiple external sources, ensuring it meets business goals and provides a seamless experience for users. The PDM will oversee the platform that supports critical data streams. This application also provides APIs for downstream clients, making it a crucial resource across various functions.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and management of a complex application, with a focus on both front-end and back-end systems

  • Ensure seamless integration of external data sources into the platform, enabling real-time display for live use

  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure high scalability, minimal downtime, and smooth performance under high user impact

  • Play an integral role in shaping and nurturing the culture of the team, leading by example with values of integrity, collaboration, and teamwork

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product evolves in alignment with business goals







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Product Development: Experience leading complex applications, both front-end and back-end

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong in JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and document-based databases; Familiarity with microservices

  • Data Integration: Skilled in integrating external data (e.g., APIs) into platforms with real-time processing

  • Scalability & Reliability: Experience ensuring application scalability and performance under heavy load

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly in high-pressure situations

  • Collaboration: Strong cross-functional teamwork with engineering, product, and other departments

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, foster a positive culture, and establish best practices

  • Communication: Clear communicator with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • High-Impact Application Experience: Experience with high-traffic applications that require rapid issue resolution

  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development processes

  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience with complex applications, back-end infrastructure, and microservices; A technical background (ideally engineering) would be beneficial to facilitate communication with developers; While not required, an engineering background will support success in this role

  • Cultural Fit: This individual will play a significant role in shaping the culture of the team; They should be assertive, demonstrate integrity, and contribute to building a positive and collaborative team environment

  • High-Impact Applications Experience: Experience working with applications that have high user impact, where fast problem resolution is essential






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
