RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tax Data Entry Specialist in Saline, MI.

Summary:
We are looking for a Tax Data Entry Specialist who is a detail driven person with strong values and an entrepreneurial mindset, who will contribute to the growth and direction of our dynamic tax team. As part of the tax team, you will partner with peers and leadership to effectuate our domestic tax preparation, compliance, and tax planning offering.

Essential Duties:

• Tax Data Entry Specialist will review client provided documents


• Enter client provided data into the tax software


• Review prior years data information for consistency and/or missing information


• Organize and maintain files, paper and digital, to support data accuracy


• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail


• As a Tax Data Entry Specialist, you will always maintain a high level of confidentiality and security of data


• Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team on both non-recurring and ongoing projects


• Other job duties as defined

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-5 years of experience in the personal tax field is preferred


• Experience with Drake Tax Software is a plus


• Ability to work and deliver quality products under tight tax deadlines


• Excellent communication skills must be a team player


• Strong analytical skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Keying/typing, standing, walking


• Sitting for an extended period


• Constant mental and/or visual attention; The work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness in an office environment


• The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; Any disagreeable elements are generally absent during the normal performance of the job


• Compliance with company attendance standards

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
