Position Summary:

The Default and Specialized Services Auditor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality control processes within Default Services to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies by conducting daily account audits, reviewing/analyzing loan documentation, and monitoring phone calls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Monitors Default and Specialized Services phone calls or review loan documents for quality, professionalism, and adherence to compliance standards.

  • Audits phone monitoring calls or review loan document audits performed by Quality Control Auditors.

  • Notifies department management immediately of any material compliance issues related to audit findings.

  • Provide coaching of audit findings to Default Services staff.

  • Provides written and verbal feedback to the department managers on audit findings related to Default Services Auditors.

  • Makes recommendations to improve the audit process or other staff training needs.

  • Train new staff on audit process of Default Services calls or loan documentation review.

  • Participates in the review and response of external audits by the Compliance department and government agencies.

  • Develop scorecards and audit procedures for the Default Services vendors.

  • Implement reporting and monitoring requirements to identify potential issues and prevent process gaps.

  • Maintain confidentiality of personal information for consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers, and dates of birth.

  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Required Experience:


  • Minimum 3 years of relevant auto finance experience.

Education:


  • High School Diploma or GE equivalent.

Skills Required:


  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite products and other reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Tableau, R, Python, Sass).


  • Overtime required required on an as needed basis.


  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA

Qualifications Preferred:


  • Bachelor s Degree

Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
