Reporting to the Senior Director, the Director provides Digital oversight and management for endpoint device services linked to a Mass General Brigham's mission-critical strategy or initiative, or that support core business processes across all Mass General Brigham.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversees the Digital activities associated with the implementation and operational support of endpoint device services
• Partner with other MGB Digital teams to provide outstanding service and constantly strive to improve the end user experience across all Mass General Brigham System sites and advance digital transformation
• Provide excellent leadership skills including escalation, relationship management, and representing the MGB Digital organization internal and external to Mass General Brigham
o Oversee 6 divisional teams of ~125+ extremely dedicated and talented Digital site and warehouse technicians (6 direct reports)
o Drive timely execution of endpoint initiatives across MGB institutions
o Participate on the Change Control Board committee
• Overall deployment, support, and asset management ownership for MGB owned endpoint devices across the Mass General Brigham (MGB) System. Including but not limited to:
o Laptop, desktop, and mobile Devices (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, AndroidOS)
o Printers (Local connection, Network, Label)
o Peripherals (Docking stations, Monitors, Scanners, Card Readers, etc.)
o Warehouse services (Shipping, Receiving, Storage, Provisioning, Repair, Disposal)
• Works with other Digital leaders and vendors to develop Mass General Brigham Digital (MGBD) strategies, tactics and services.
• Collaborates well with site leaders, developing an understanding of their business goals and identifying how the particular application, platform or service can best help the site meet those goals.
• Proactively ensures security measures are in place to protect confidential data compliant with state and federal regulations and other pertinent regulatory agencies.
• Provides innovative and proactive management, including the attraction, retention and development of high-quality staff.
• Leads the development and implementation of large projects and initiatives or directs others in the same.
• Develops and monitors the Digital budget for the enterprise application, platform or service. Leads efforts to identify new approaches to deliver improved services and cost savings.

Qualifications
Qualifications
• Ten or more years of relevant experience in managing information systems in healthcare organizations. Prior information systems leadership experienced desired.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Healthcare Informatics or equivalent subjects. Master's degree desired, but not required in lieu of equivalent experience.
• A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
• Hybrid role requires weekly onsite travel and visits based on business need at MGB local sites, including but not limited to Somerville Assembly Row, MGB hospitals, Boston and surrounding; MGH, BWH, CDH, WDH, Salem.
• The primary site is AR, but there will be travel across all MGB locations as this role is responsible for site technicians in MA/ NH.
• Option to work from home when onsite visits are not needed
• This position requires occasional local travel to MGB sites, vendors, and/or conferences
• Hospital work environment working conditions include possible exposure to diseases or infections and may require safety gear (PPE) such as gloves and mask.
• Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
