Position Overview:
ANSER is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support a federal program on CMMC policy and programs. In this role you will provide cybersecurity guidance and support in developing an effective and agile CMMC Program, strategy, roadmap, governance, and metrics of performance.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Provide legislative support with compiling data to support and draft testimony, appeals, responses to congressional inquiries and General Accountability Office investigation documentation.
Develop new or refined CMMC policies, technical products and models, and assessments that protect against adversary threats.
Support the development of an effective and agile CMMC Program, strategy, roadmap, governance, and metrics of performance.
Conduct research and technical analyses for CMMC Programs.
Provide subject matter expertise for developing or refining policies, technical products, and assessments that protect the defense industrial base (DIB) from adversarial threats.
Support the development, modeling, testing, data standards, data sharing across government systems in the CMMC ecosystem.
Analyze and identify opportunities for refinement of the CMMC Program.
Assist with drafting strategic communications plans, talking points, press releases, briefings, briefing cards, and public engagement schedules.
Plan, implement, and coordinate the CMMC strategic communications for senior DoD CIO
executive leadership.
Evaluate performance and major changes impacting short-term project success.
Provide other support as appropriate such as document development, support for meeting events, task management and workflow assistance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a cybersecurity related discipline, or any Bachelor's degree and a cybersecurity related certification of CISSP or equivalent
DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
10 years progressive relevant experience in cybersecurity and/or systems engineering and supporting cybersecurity, technology programs.
At least one cybersecurity certification such as CEH, CRISC, CISM, CISA, CISSP, GIA
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of cybersecurity standards.
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of CMMC 1.0 and 2.0, NIST 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012 requirements.
Prior experience providing guidance to government technical programs.
Preferred qualifications:
Previous experience presenting or briefing high level stakeholders, military officials and policy makers.
Knowledge of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs, systems and infrastructure.
Cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, CRISC, CISM, CISA, CISSP, GIA
