Overview:
The Associate Creative Director (Concept & Copy) Campaigns will support the Walmart Creative Studio in concept through execution for marketing/brand/seasonal campaigns that translate across multiple channels including 360 full funnel paid, social, digital, email, site, print and in-store. Our ideal candidate must be a strategically minded problem solver, conceptual thinker and able to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. They should be organized, detail-oriented and exhibit outstanding creative judgement while dreaming big and pushing boundaries.
In this role, the ACD (Concept & Copy) will partner with an ACD (Design & Art Direction) and work alongside the Creative Director to connect the overarching marketing strategy and executional 360 full funnel campaign. This role works collaboratively with other team leads (within creative & cross-functionally) and focuses on primarily on Toys and Walmart+ membership campaigns.
You will also help lead external agency partners using a blend of strong leadership and hands-on creative expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration: Ideate, create, and execute 360 campaign creative across all channels (owned & paid). Work cross-functionally with marketing, ops teams, integrated strategy and external agencies to ensure creative cohesion at every touchpoint.
Build trust and effective relationships with key partners in a large, highly matrixed organization.
Develop creative leadership and marketing pitch decks to gain alignment setting the team up for success.
Manage projects, growth, and development of mid and junior level creatives.

Pursue ways that we can work better, faster.
Manage projects that are on-brief and on-brand, mitigating feedback, ultimately keeping workstreams on track.
Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, culture and consumer behaviors to inform creative decisions and maintain our brand's competitive edge.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and craft throughout the conceptual and execution process, ensuring that the final work meets or exceeds expectations.
Attend & oversee production shoots as needed.
Ability to copywrite assets and brand campaigns as needed
Project Oversight: Manage team & high-profile projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in creative writing, advertising, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in professional advertising agency Copywriting experience, with at least 2 years management experience.
Exceptional portfolio featuring big campaign ideas across full funnel TV/Video, social, digital, experiential & print - conceptual and innovative thinking.
Proficiency in industry-standard creative tools and software including the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Slides, Slack and Figma.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate external agency partners and connect across Walmart Creative Studio.
Clearly articulates vision and provides contextual feedback.
Organized with diligent follow-through on every task.
Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
