Overall Purpose:

Leads an experienced team responsible for technical sourcing and contracting position responsible for developing objectives, policies, and procedures for negotiating, sourcing, and the management of contractual documents enterprise-wide.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for corporate wide tactical policies and operational effectiveness and establishing business relationships with technical vendors or customers.
  • Provides leadership and direction through managers and advises management of contractual rights and obligations and may provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
  • Provides leadership in development of strategies, contract negotiations, service sourcing, quality management, technical roadmaps, process simplification and automation while achieving company operational efficiency cost savings goals.
  • Responsibilities include sensitive negotiations, custom commercial offers, revenue generating opportunities, and strategic roadmap alignment.
  • Functional areas of responsibility include implementation of fiduciary controls, consistent application of existing policies, process improvements, management of contractual agreements and organizational effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the corporate wide strategy and operating effectiveness of the overall technical contract and sourcing process including Finance and Compliance to corporate guidelines.
  • Engage with BU clients across enterprise to integrate new technology requirements and remain aligned on strategies.


Education: Preferred Masters degree in Business or related field.

Experience: Typically requires at least 10 years experience and supervisory experience.
