The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the entire electrical department to include the plant electrical infrastructure and plant electrical personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize and oversee the electrical department for the facility
Ensuring team is properly trained to safely work in the electrical department
Work closely with other departments to collaborate and problem solve to meet company needs
Ensure scheduled maintenance of all electrical systems are up to date and within electrical code
Ensure team has appropriate tools and supplies to complete their tasks
Monitor and control downtime while providing solutions to minimize downtime
Promote and drive succession development with areas of responsibility

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Active Master Electrician License or a combination of equivalent education and experience
Demonstrated experience in power systems, automation, and an in depth understanding of controls and power-delivery systems. (Specifically, Allen Bradley / Square D systems)
Experience using electrical diagnostic tools and conducting electrical acceptance testing of completed hardware
Extensive AutoCAD knowledge
Knowledge of NEC best practices
5 Years Electrical / Automation Management Experience in the meat / beef industry
Read, write, and orally communicate in English and ability to work with no or little supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed Electrician in the state of Missouri
Automation / Robotics hands on experience a plus
AS / BS Engineering degree
Bilingual English / Spanish
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in PLC electronic theory and troubleshooting
Ability to read and use blueprints, schematics and other diagrams
Ability to work on a team and communicate well with others
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Ability to perform work with minimal direction
Time management skills

Summary
America's Heartland Packing is set to open its doors in early 2025. The 775,000 sq. ft. greenfield project will include a harvest floor, carcass chillers, fabrication area, rendering, further processing area, storage coolers, freezers, and loading docks.
